AVote™ (the Absentee Voter Online Tracking Engine) is a web application for Michigan Townships, Cities and Counties that will provide for their electorate the ability to check Online that their absentee ballots have been received by the Clerk's Office.

Management of the AVote™ system:

A secure menu system (Login and Password required) for authorized Clerk's office personnel is provided. Management items include:

• Upload to the AVote database new absentee voters and updated information on current voters.
• Maintain the Localization data for AVote.
  • The Name of your township/city/county
  • The Date of the current election period
  • Your Contact phone numbers and email address
• Reports:
  • Generate a report on how many times AVote was accessed during each election period.
• Prepare for a new Election Period:
  • Reset AVote for each election period so that the Voter will be shown the progress of their absentee ballot only for the current election period.
