AVote™ (the Absentee Voter Online Tracking Engine) is a web application for Michigan Townships, Cities and Counties that will provide for their electorate the ability to check Online that their absentee ballots have been received by the Clerk's Office.

Maintaining the Voter List in AVote™:

AVote gets all of its data from the Qualified Voter File (QVF) system that you already have. A simple QVF report extracts the data from QVF, which you then upload to AVote. It is as easy as that! This single upload will both add new absentee voters to AVote and update the current voters in one operation.

You will also be pleased to know that there is NO laborious entry of data into AVote. Aside from Localization information (municipality name, next election date, etc) , ALL the data AVote requires is uploaded from the QVF report. Couldn’t be simpler!

Please note that AVote does not interact with QVF directly in any way. No information in QVF is altered or accessed except through running a QVF report.
